Pulaski County Mugshots & Booking Records

The historic Pulaski County Courthouse in downtown Little Rock, the county seat; its 1889 Romanesque original and 1914 Beaux-Arts annex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Home to Little Rock, the state capital, Pulaski County is the population and government center of Arkansas, with more residents than any other county in the state. Roughly four hundred thousand people live across Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, and Maumelle, a Central Arkansas metro defined by the State Capitol, the Clinton Presidential Center, and the enduring legacy of Little Rock Central High.
Most people arrested anywhere in Pulaski County are booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility, the jail at 3201 West Roosevelt Road in Little Rock that books the highest volume of any county lockup in Arkansas. The county sheriff's office runs it, accepting arrests from agencies across the capital area: the Little Rock and North Little Rock police departments, the smaller city forces in Sherwood, Jacksonville, and Maumelle, and deputies assigned to the unincorporated county. At intake, each arrestee is photographed and their charges and bond amount are entered into the jail's records.
Checking who is in custody is easy: the Sheriff's Office keeps a public online inmate roster that lists everyone currently held by name, refreshed as people are booked and released. The jail's booking line is (501) 340-7001. Our Pulaski County mugshots page pulls the newest booking photos into one feed, so following arrests in Little Rock and the wider county doesn't mean checking a dozen separate agency pages.
About Pulaski County
Created in 1818 and named for Casimir Pulaski, the Polish cavalry officer who died fighting in the American Revolution, Pulaski County grew into the political and economic heart of the state. Little Rock, the county seat, is both the state capital and Arkansas's largest city, home to the State Capitol, state agencies, major hospitals, and the banks and law firms that anchor the regional economy. North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, and Maumelle round out a metro of roughly 400,000 people, the most of any county in Arkansas.
Pulaski County also carries an outsized share of Arkansas history. Little Rock Central High School, now a National Historic Site, was the scene of the 1957 desegregation crisis when nine Black students integrated the school under federal escort, and the Clinton Presidential Center sits on the south bank of the Arkansas River just east of downtown. The county shares its eastern border with Lonoke County, and you can weigh its numbers against Washington County, the busiest in our Arkansas coverage, or reach every county we track through the Arkansas mugshots hub.
