Carroll County Mugshots & Booking Records

The 1908 Carroll County Courthouse, Western District, in Eureka Springs

Carroll County is two counties in one administrative sense: a single Ozark county split into eastern and western judicial districts by the winding Kings River, with courthouses in both Berryville and the Victorian spa town of Eureka Springs. Tourists fill its mountain lanes, but arrests across the county still funnel to one jail. This page tracks current bookings and arrest records throughout Carroll County.
People arrested anywhere in Carroll County are booked into the Carroll County Detention Center at 205 Hailey Road in Berryville, the jail run by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. Deputies, the police in Berryville, Green Forest, and Eureka Springs, and state troopers working the Ozark highways all deliver arrestees to this facility, where every booking records the charges, sets bail, and enters a mugshot into the county's public files.
Online, the county publishes a name-searchable Carroll County jail roster that lists current detainees and recent releases. For the latest Carroll County booking photos, open our Carroll County mugshot gallery, updated as fresh bookings are filed.
About Carroll County
Carved from Izard County in 1833, Carroll County took its name from Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the last living signer of the Declaration of Independence. Unusually, it runs two seats of government: Berryville anchors the eastern district and holds the elected officials, while Eureka Springs — a hillside warren of Victorian storefronts, mineral springs, and steep crooked streets — heads the western district from an Italianate courthouse built in 1908, the Kings River drawing the line between them. Once dubbed the Turkey Capital of Arkansas, the county still leans on poultry and farming, but tourism now drives much of the economy, drawing visitors to Eureka Springs, the towering Christ of the Ozarks, and the glass-walled Thorncrown Chapel. About 28,300 people live here among the wooded hills. Carroll lies just west of Boone County, rises north of Madison County, and shares its western edge with Benton County. When your search reaches beyond Carroll, our statewide Arkansas mugshot directory covers every other county.
