Drew County Mugshots & Booking Records

The Drew County Courthouse in Monticello, Arkansas

The 1932 Classical Moderne Drew County Courthouse in Monticello, the county seat.

Monticello wears two hats: a college town anchored by a University of Arkansas campus and the working capital of South Arkansas's pine belt, the place where the state trains its foresters. That blend of campus and timber gives Drew County its flavor, yet the Sheriff's Office still books every local arrest, and those jail records open to the public the moment the paperwork clears.

Arrests across Drew County run through the Drew County Detention Facility, the county lockup at 210 South Main Street in Monticello, a wing of the county complex anchored by the 1932 courthouse. The jail is run day to day by the Drew County Sheriff's Office and holds anyone arrested across the county — by sheriff's deputies, Monticello police, or campus police at the university. Drew is one of the rural counties that keeps its own roster online: a current inmate list lives at drewcountysheriff.com, split into people in custody now and a recent-release feed, while the statewide VINE system follows the same names. The booking desk fields custody questions at (870) 460-6215.

Whoever turns up on that roster shows up here as well. Open the Drew County mugshot gallery to page through the newest bookings and narrow them by name, by booking charge, or by how recent the arrest is. Drew shares its northern line with Lincoln County; off to the northwest is the bigger Jefferson County around Pine Bluff, and south in the oil country sits Union County. Our Arkansas mugshots hub gathers every county page we maintain.

About Drew County

Established in 1846 and named for Thomas Stevenson Drew, Arkansas's third governor, Drew County has kept Monticello as its seat and largest town since the city was laid out three years later; Wilmar, Winchester, and Tillar trail it out in the farm country, which counts roughly 17,000 residents in all. Monticello doubles as a University of Arkansas town: the System's Monticello campus, UAM, carries the only College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources in the state — apt for a place where pine plantations and sawmills have outpaced cotton for a century. Plants turning out boats, carpets, and furniture round out the payroll beside the campus and the timber firms. Presiding over the square is the limestone Drew County Courthouse, a 1932 Classical Moderne design by architect H. Ray Burks that has watched over downtown Monticello since the Depression and entered the National Register in 1997.
